Integral Ad Science (IAS) has named Lidiane Jones as its chief executive officer, effective immediately. She succeeds Lisa Utzschneider, who has led the digital media quality company for more than seven years.

Utzschneider will continue to support the leadership transition as Special Advisor to the IAS Board through the end of 2026. She will also serve as a Special Advisor to Novacap and its portfolio companies.

Jones joins IAS with more than two decades of leadership experience across product, technology and artificial intelligence. Most recently, she served as CEO of Bumble. Before that, she led Slack as CEO following its acquisition by Salesforce, where she also held the role of executive vice president and general manager of Digital Experiences. Her previous experience includes leadership positions at Sonos and more than 10 years at Microsoft.

The company said Jones' appointment aligns with its long-term strategy as artificial intelligence reshapes digital advertising, media measurement and campaign optimisation. IAS aims to further strengthen its AI-powered media quality and verification capabilities under her leadership.

"IAS occupies a unique position in the market," Jones said. "The company has built an extraordinary technology foundation and has earned real trust across the industry and with customers around the world. As advertising undergoes another wave of transformation driven by AI, I believe IAS is exceptionally well positioned to lead, innovate and help customers navigate what's next."

The appointment follows a succession process conducted by the company's board in partnership with Novacap and Utzschneider.

Reflecting on her tenure, Utzschneider said leading IAS had been one of the highlights of her career and expressed confidence in Jones' ability to guide the company through its next phase of growth. Under Utzschneider's leadership, IAS expanded its AI-driven technology offerings and strengthened its position as a global media quality and measurement platform.
