IndiGo appoints Gaurav Negi as Advisor to Managing Director

Former CFO transitions to an advisory role as InterGlobe Aviation names Kiran Thadimarri as the airline's new Chief Financial Officer.

InterGlobe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo, has redesignated Gaurav Negi as Advisor to the Managing Director, marking his transition from the role of Chief Financial Officer.

The company announced the move in a stock exchange filing, stating that Negi's redesignation took effect at the close of business on 27 July 2026.

Negi, who served as IndiGo's CFO for more than four years, also shared the update on LinkedIn, reflecting on his tenure with the airline.

"After more than four rewarding years as the CFO of IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd), I am transitioning into an advisory role to the Managing Director. I have been truly fortunate to work alongside exceptional minds who continually inspired excellence. Together, we navigated challenges, embraced possibilities, strengthened our financial foundation, supported our growth ambitions, and created lasting value for our shareholders," he wrote.

He also thanked the company's board, leadership team, finance colleagues, business partners, financial institutions, rating agencies, auditors, analysts, investors, and members of the media for their support throughout his tenure.

Meanwhile, InterGlobe Aviation has appointed Kiran Thadimarri as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective 28 July 2026, succeeding Negi in the role.
