Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) has appointed LN Koteshwar as the Chief Executive Officer of its wellness nutrition brand Oziva, strengthening its leadership as it sharpens focus on the fast-growing health and wellness segment.

Koteshwar will report to Harman Dhillon, Executive Director – Beauty and Wellbeing at HUL, and will also lead the company's broader wellness portfolio, including electrolyte drink brand Liquid I.V.

The appointment follows HUL's complete acquisition of plant-based wellness brand Oziva through its parent company, Zywie, in February 2026. HUL had initially entered the wellness nutrition category in 2023 by acquiring a 51% stake in Zywie before taking full ownership earlier this year.

Koteshwar joins HUL from Marico, where he served as Executive Vice President and P&L Head for startups and digital-first businesses. During his tenure, he led several consumer brands, including Beardo, Just Herbs, True Elements, Plix, Pure Sense and Coco Soul.

Before Marico, he spent more than four years at Flipkart, heading Flipkart Wholesale and previously leading the company's grocery business across essentials, fresh produce and private labels.

Koteshwar brings over 15 years of experience at Coca-Cola, where he held leadership roles spanning sales, marketing, strategy and innovation. He began his career as an Area Sales Manager at Coca-Cola and also worked as a Software Engineer at Wipro.

An alumnus of the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, Koteshwar holds an MBA along with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University.

With the appointment, HUL aims to strengthen its wellness portfolio at a time when competition in the nutrition and health supplements category continues to intensify.
