Gunjan Srivastava has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Mirc Electronics Ltd. He joins the 45-year-old company with a mandate to drive a strategic turnaround and restore the brand’s prominence in the competitive television and audio segments.
Srivastava was previously CEO of BSH Home Appliances India and later led BSH Home Appliances UK & Ireland. During his nearly 12-year tenure at BSH Home Appliances, he played a key role in establishing and scaling operations in India, strengthening sales and service networks, and building brand awareness in a highly competitive market.
At Mirc Electronics, Srivastava is expected to focus on revitalising Onida, a brand long associated with its memorable tagline, “Neighbours envy, Owner’s pride.” The company is looking to reclaim its position in India’s fast-evolving consumer electronics market.
“With the support of our team, shareholders, and new investors, I am confident we can transform Mirc Electronics and unlock its full potential,” Srivastava said in a LinkedIn post announcing his new role.
Srivastava brings extensive experience across consumer marketing, sales, distribution, business management, corporate strategy and post-merger integration. Over the course of his career, he has worked with leading organisations including Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances, Sennheiser Electronics India, Philips Electronics India and Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited.
His appointment signals Mirc Electronics’ intent to bring seasoned leadership to steer the company through its next phase of growth and brand reinvention.
