Globus Spirits appoints Shekhar Swarup as Chief Executive Officer

 Globus Spirits has appointed Shekhar Swarup as its Chief Executive Officer, according to a regulatory filing by the company. The appointment came into effect on March 5, 2026, following approval from the Board.

Swarup will continue to serve as Joint Managing Director while assuming the additional responsibilities of CEO under the Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) category. He will also retain his role as a Whole-time Director.

The company said the designation has been introduced to accurately reflect the current organisational structure and ensure regulatory transparency.

“To accurately reflect the current organisational structure and ensure regulatory transparency, Mr. Shekhar Swarup, who currently oversees the company’s strategic vision, culture, and high-level operations, has been formally designated as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) under the category of Key Managerial Personnel,” the filing stated.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Swarup has been associated with Globus Spirits for more than 17 years. He has been serving as Joint Managing Director since February 2017 and is based in Delhi.

Prior to this, he worked as Executive Director at the company from October 2011 to January 2017.
