Deepa Krishnan, who most recently led marketing at Hyatt Hotels for India and South West Asia, has taken on a new role as head of marketing at Edelweiss Alternate Asset Advisors.
Krishnan spent the last two years with Hyatt, where she headed marketing initiatives across key markets in the region, strengthening the hospitality group’s brand presence and customer engagement strategies.

Announcing her transition on LinkedIn, Krishnan said she was enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to Edelweiss Alternate Asset Advisors’ growth journey, particularly in the real estate segment.
She noted that she is “looking forward to driving growth for the company’s real estate business” in her new role.
Nearly 25 years of experience across marquee brands
With close to 25 years of experience in marketing and brand leadership, Krishnan brings a diverse background spanning consumer goods, telecommunications, consulting, beverages and hospitality.
Over the course of her career, she has held senior marketing roles at Starbucks, Kantar, Idea Cellular, Diageo, The Futures Company and Godrej Appliances, building expertise across brand strategy, consumer insights and integrated marketing communications.
At Edelweiss Alternate Asset Advisors, she is expected to lead marketing strategy and brand positioning as the firm continues to expand its alternate investments and real estate portfolio.
