CEO Rahul Mehta exits from Media Mantra; Udit Pathak takes interim charge

Media Mantra said it is in no rush to appoint a new India CEO, as the agency focuses on its next phase of growth amid evolving industry dynamics.

CEO Rahul Mehta has exited the organisation, founder Udit Pathak announced in a LinkedIn post.

Pathak said the position of CEO – India will remain vacant for now, with him taking over the responsibilities of the role on an interim basis.

“We are in no rush to fill this role. For us, it is about finding the right leader at the right time — someone who aligns with our vision for the future,” Pathak said.

He added that the company remains optimistic about its future and believes the next two to three years will be a defining period as the communications industry continues to evolve rapidly.

“We are focused, ambitious, and committed to building the next phase of Media Mantra with clarity, strength, and purpose,” he said.

Mehta was appointed CEO of Media Mantra in June 2022. With more than 25 years of experience across agency and corporate communications, he has held senior leadership positions for over 15 years. Prior to joining Media Mantra, Mehta served as COO at Kaizzen, Senior Vice President and General Manager at FleishmanHillard, and Branch Head at Weber Shandwick.

Pathak also wished Mehta success in his future endeavours.
