Britannia Industries appoints Chitwan Singh as CBO – International Business; elevates Rahul Mahajan

Britannia Industries has appointed Chitwan Singh as Chief Business Officer – International Business, with effect from 15 June 2026. The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors, as per a regulatory filing.

Singh brings over 25 years of experience in the FMCG sector, having worked across key markets including the United States, Africa and India. He joins Britannia after holding leadership roles at Godrej Consumer Products and Olam Group.

This marks a return to Britannia for Singh, who previously spent more than a decade with the company in various sales and marketing leadership roles.

During his tenure at Godrej Consumer Products, he held multiple CEO-level positions, including CEO and Managing Director – North America & Nigeria, as well as CEO – West Africa. Prior to that, he led the packaged foods business at Olam International for the South Africa and Ghana cluster in West Africa.

In a parallel development, Britannia has elevated Rahul Mahajan to the role of Vice President – Sales, effective 1 April. He was previously serving as National Sales Head – General Trade and has been with the company for over three years.

Mahajan brings more than 22 years of experience in FMCG, with expertise across sales, distribution and channel management. Before joining Britannia, he has worked with companies such as Marico, L’Oréal India, Mondelez International, Bharti Airtel, Bharti Teletech and JSW Dulux (formerly Akzo Nobel India).
