Das was previously President – Packed Beverages, India & South Asia at Tata Consumer Products, where he led the company’s beverages portfolio across the region.

Britannia Industries has appointed Puneet Das as Chief Marketing Officer and elevated Siddharth Gupta to Vice President – Marketing, as per the company’s regulatory filling.

Das will take charge as CMO from February 16, 2026. He has over 24 years of experience across Indian and international FMCG markets, including Africa, Bangladesh, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.

He has previously worked at Marico Limited, PepsiCo India, GSK Consumer Healthcare India and Tata Consumer Products Limited. During his career, he has handled brands such as 7Up, Boost, Horlicks, Tata Tea and Tetley.

Siddharth Gupta has been elevated from General Manager – Marketing to Vice President – Marketing, effective February 1, 2026.

Gupta joined Britannia in 2018 and currently leads marketing for the company’s biscuit, wafer and snack portfolio. He has around 20 years of experience in brand management, strategy, innovation, communication and sales.

Before Britannia, Gupta worked at Colgate Palmolive for over a decade. He joined the company as a Management Trainee in 2006 and later served as Marketing Manager, overseeing toothpaste categories including Freshness, Whitening and Sensitivity.
