Jain has been part of boAt’s leadership team since 2022 and currently heads enterprise and original design manufacturer (ODM) sales. He also oversees strategy and operations, playing a central role in long-term growth planning and organisational execution.
Background in consulting and digital ventures
Before joining boAt, Jain spent nearly six years at Bain & Company, where he worked on growth strategy and operational transformation projects across sectors. His earlier experience includes stints at Rocket Internet and internships with consulting firms Kearney and Deloitte.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta.
CEO highlights overseas markets as growth drivers
Commenting on the leadership change, Gaurav Nayya, chief executive officer of boAt, said the company’s future growth is closely tied to its international ambitions.
“Global expansion sits at the heart of boAt’s long-term strategy,” Nayya said. “Our journey beyond India is gathering pace, with several international markets now emerging as meaningful contributors to growth. This elevation reflects our intent to strengthen leadership depth and bring sharper execution to our global plans.”
Jain calls role a milestone for India-born brand
Jain described his elevation as a significant moment in boAt’s evolution as a consumer electronics brand with global aspirations.
“This is an exciting phase for boAt as we take an India-born brand to audiences around the world,” he said. “I’m thankful for the confidence placed in me and look forward to building impactful international businesses that remain true to boAt’s bold and consumer-first DNA.”
Scaling up overseas operations
The appointment comes as boAt moves to formalise leadership oversight of its international operations while stepping up efforts to build distribution, partnerships and brand presence outside India.
With overseas markets beginning to contribute more meaningfully to revenues, the company is positioning its leadership structure to support sustained global growth.
