Baskar Subramanian has joined Dabur India as Head of Trade Marketing, marking a new chapter in his career after a decade-long stint with Reckitt.

Subramanian announced his move on LinkedIn, reflecting on his 10 years with Reckitt, where he began his professional journey as a Management Trainee. Over the course of the decade, he took on diverse roles across markets and business challenges, building experience across sales and commercial functions.

In his post, Subramanian credited his time at Reckitt with shaping his approach to work and leadership, while expressing gratitude to the people who supported and challenged him throughout the journey. He described the transition as a mix of gratitude for his decade at the organisation and excitement about the road ahead.

At Dabur, Subramanian will take on the role of Head of Trade Marketing, where he will focus on the company’s trade marketing mandate. His appointment comes as he transitions from an organisation he had been associated with since the beginning of his career to one of India’s leading FMCG companies.

Announcing his new role, Subramanian said the opportunity at Dabur represents a chance to work with new brands, take on fresh challenges and build in a different environment.

His move adds to Dabur’s commercial leadership as the company continues to strengthen its presence across its diverse portfolio of consumer brands.
