Aramex, a global provider of logistics and transportation solutions, has appointed Abbas Panju as Senior Vice President for its GCC and India operations, strengthening its leadership bench at a time of accelerated regional growth and shifting global supply chain dynamics.

Panju brings close to two decades of international leadership experience, with deep expertise across Asia, the Middle East and Africa. Over his career, he has steered organisations through complex geopolitical, political and economic transitions, while building resilient operating models in volatile markets.

Extensive experience across global logistics markets

Aramex said Panju has played a key role in shaping hybrid business strategies and strengthening supply chains through initiatives such as de-risking and nearshoring. He has also led large, diverse teams through major organisational transformations and periods of market disruption, positioning companies to adapt to changing trade patterns and customer expectations.

His appointment is expected to support Aramex’s long-term strategy in two of its fastest-growing regions, where demand for cross-border trade, e-commerce logistics and integrated supply chain solutions continues to rise.

Focus on innovation and supply chain resilience

Commenting on his new role, Panju said he was looking forward to joining the company at a critical point in its growth journey.

“I am honoured to join Aramex at an important stage of its growth,” he said.

Describing the regional opportunity, he added, “The GCC and India are fast-growing markets with strong potential, and I aim to use my experience to drive innovation, strengthen supply chain resilience and deliver greater value to customers.”

Emphasis on sustainable growth and collaboration

Panju also outlined his priorities for the role, highlighting long-term value creation and organisational agility.

“My focus will be on sustainable growth, closer collaboration across teams and staying agile in a changing global logistics environment,” he said.

Aramex said his leadership will be instrumental in advancing its regional strategy, with an emphasis on delivering solutions that enable business growth, generate positive environmental impact and uphold the company’s service standards across customer and community engagements.

The company added that Panju’s appointment reflects its commitment to strengthening executive leadership as it navigates evolving trade routes, digital transformation and sustainability requirements in the global logistics sector.
