Apple has appointed communications veteran Prasidha Menon as its Head of Product Communications in India. Based in Mumbai, Menon assumed the new role in July 2026, bringing more than 18 years of experience spanning communications, brand marketing and product communications.
Menon announced her move through a post on LinkedIn. She joins Apple following a stint at Airbnb, where she held senior communications positions including Regional Head of Brand & Product Communications for Asia Pacific and Head of Communications for India, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Her career includes leadership roles across prominent technology and consumer-facing organisations. Before Airbnb, Menon held senior positions at Optum | UnitedHealth Group, OYO and Uber. During her tenure at Uber, she served as Head of Communications for India and South Asia, having earlier worked as Product Communications Lead for India.
Menon began her professional journey in communications and editorial roles before spending close to five years with Edelman India, where she rose to the position of Account Director. Earlier in her career, she also worked with Genesis Burson-Marsteller, supporting Microsoft India's corporate communications team.
