Aparna Thomas exits Sanofi after nearly two decades

Aparna Thomas has stepped down from Sanofi, concluding an 18-year association with the global pharmaceutical company.

Most recently, Thomas served as Global Corporate Affairs Lead – Insulins & Established Products, where she led global corporate affairs initiatives from India. She joined Sanofi in 2008 as Director – Communications and went on to hold several leadership positions during her nearly two-decade tenure.

Thomas announced her departure through a LinkedIn post, reflecting on her journey with the company and expressing gratitude for the opportunities that shaped her career.

In her post, she said she was thankful for the experiences that enabled her to grow beyond the scope of her role and contribute to global initiatives across the organisation.

Looking ahead, Thomas shared that she plans to take a break to explore new opportunities and personal interests before embarking on the next phase of her professional journey.

During her tenure at Sanofi, Thomas played a key role in leading communications and corporate affairs across multiple functions, culminating in her leadership of global corporate affairs for the company's Insulins & Established Products portfolio.
