Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has elevated Mitul Thakkar as its Head of Corporate Communications, entrusting him with the responsibility of leading strategic communications across the company's portfolio of eight airports.
In his new role, Thakkar will oversee both internal and external communications, with a mandate to strengthen the organisation's reputation, enhance stakeholder trust and support its broader business objectives.
A long-serving member of the Adani Group, Thakkar has been associated with the conglomerate for more than nine years, having joined in 2017 as Assistant General Manager. Prior to this elevation, he served as Associate Vice President – Corporate Brand Custodian. Earlier, he led corporate communications for the Group's Mining & Metals business as Associate Vice President.
With nearly two decades of experience spanning corporate communications, business journalism and advertising, Thakkar has built expertise in reputation management, crisis communications, media relations, leadership communications, stakeholder engagement, branding and digital media.
His appointment comes as Adani Airport Holdings continues to expand its aviation footprint, with strategic communications expected to play a key role in supporting the company's growth and stakeholder engagement efforts.
