Abhilasha Gupta has joined Vedanta Group as Head – External Communications, taking charge of the company's external communications at a time when the diversified natural resources conglomerate is entering a new phase following one of India's largest corporate demergers.
Gupta shared the development in a LinkedIn post, saying she is looking forward to shaping the organisation's external narrative across its portfolio of businesses.
"With one of India's largest corporate demergers recently concluded, the opportunity to help shape the organization's external narrative across a portfolio of businesses is both a privilege and a responsibility," she wrote.
Prior to joining Vedanta Group, Gupta served as Global Head – Corporate Communications & Public Affairs at Tech Mahindra, where she led the company's global corporate communications and public affairs function.
In her new role, Gupta will lead Vedanta Group's external communications strategy, supporting the company's corporate narrative across its businesses as it navigates its post-demerger phase.
She concluded her announcement by saying she looks forward to the journey ahead.
