Zomato has introduced Healthy Subscriptions, a new feature under its Healthy Mode vertical that allows users to subscribe to multi-day meal plans from health-focused restaurants listed on the platform. The feature is currently live in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

Sahibjeet Singh Sawhney, head of marketing at Zomato, announced the launch on LinkedIn. Users can choose from 3-day, 5-day, or 15-day plans, with per-meal prices starting at around Rs 250 for the 15-day plan.

Subscribers can pick between lunch and dinner, change dishes or reschedule delivery at any point, and customise their plan as they go. The meals are high-protein options sourced from restaurants already listed under the Healthy Mode filter.

As a launch incentive, Zomato is offering a free one-month Cult Elite membership to users who complete their first Healthy Subscription.

The launch is the latest step in a health-focused push that Zomato has been building since October 2024, when it first introduced Healthy Mode. According to Sawhney, over 10 million orders have been placed through Healthy Mode since then, with a notable number of users keeping it as their default setting on the app.

Zomat, in 2023, started a service called Zomato Everyday, which offered home-style meals at affordable prices, primarily targeting office-goers in metro cities; it shut down in 2025. Rival Swiggy has launched EatRight, a dedicated section grouping higher-protein dishes, lower-calorie options, and foods with no added sugar, available across more than 50 cities.

Also, players like FoodDarzee and EatFit have been in this space for a while, offering personalised and diet-specific plans
