Thyrocare Technologies has appointed actor Madhuri Dixit as its brand ambassador, strengthening its efforts to promote preventive healthcare and regular health monitoring among Indian consumers. The announcement was made on the occasion of India’s 77th Republic Day.

The association aligns with Thyrocare’s long-term focus on encouraging early diagnosis and routine diagnostic testing as an integral part of everyday health management, as the company looks to deepen awareness around preventive care in a price-sensitive and access-constrained market.

Focus on early detection and routine testing

Thyrocare said the partnership is aimed at reinforcing the importance of timely diagnostics and proactive health management, particularly at a time when lifestyle diseases and chronic conditions are on the rise across urban and semi-urban India.

Over the years, the company has built a strong presence in the diagnostics space by offering large-scale testing services with an emphasis on affordability and accessibility, positioning itself as a key player in India’s preventive healthcare ecosystem.

Through its association with Dixit, Thyrocare plans to sharpen its consumer communication around the need for regular health check-ups and early detection to improve long-term health outcomes.

CEO highlights barriers to diagnostics

Commenting on the appointment, Rahul Guha, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Thyrocare and API Holdings, said the company’s mission is centred on making diagnostics easier and more accessible for the masses.

“At Thyrocare, we exist to remove barriers such as price, access and inconvenience that keep people away from timely diagnostics. Preventive healthcare is the single biggest lever to improve health outcomes in India. Madhuri Dixit brings unmatched trust and credibility, and together, we want to make routine health check-ups a non-negotiable part of Indian life,” Guha said.

Madhuri Dixit on prioritising health

Speaking about the association, Dixit said the partnership reflects her belief in the importance of early intervention and regular monitoring.

“I strongly believe that taking charge of one’s health early makes all the difference. Thyrocare has built its reputation on quality, affordability, and putting patients first. I’m proud to partner with a brand that is focused on empowering people to prioritise regular health check-ups,” she said.

The appointment underscores Thyrocare’s continued emphasis on preventive healthcare as a cornerstone of its growth strategy, as it seeks to encourage millions of Indians to view routine diagnostic testing not as a one-time event, but as a regular health habit.
