Former HDFC Bank marketing leader brings over 25 years of experience in customer engagement, sponsorships, and experiential marketing to the luxury experiences venture.

Experiential marketing agency Think XQ has strengthened its luxury experiences business, Bespoke Experiences (Bespoke EXP), with the appointment of Kapil Sharma as Co-Founder.

Sharma joins the venture after a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years across marketing, customer engagement, sponsorships, and experiential platforms. Most recently, he served as Vice President – Marketing at HDFC Bank, where he led several high-profile customer engagement and experiential initiatives.

Over the course of his career, Sharma has also held leadership positions at Kotak Mahindra Bank and The Times of India Group. An ET Marketing Leadership Award recipient, he brings extensive expertise in brand building, consumer engagement, and large-scale event execution.

Launched in 2025, Bespoke EXP is Think XQ’s dedicated luxury experiences vertical. The company specialises in curating high-end events, global celebrations, and hospitality-led experiences for premium clientele. With operating hubs across India, Thailand, the UAE, and the UK, and an execution footprint spanning more than 50 countries, the business caters to customers seeking highly personalised luxury experiences.

Bespoke EXP is jointly led by Akshay Chawla, Managing Director of Think XQ and Founder of Bespoke EXP, alongside Sharma. Together, the duo aims to expand the company’s presence in the luxury experiences market by combining expertise in experiential marketing, luxury events, and bespoke engagements.

Since its inception, the division has secured recognition within the luxury events segment. Among its notable assignments was the planning and execution of the wedding celebrations of Disha Sharma and MJ Sudarshan for the family of media entrepreneur and India TV Chairman Rajat Sharma, showcasing the firm's capabilities in delivering customised luxury experiences.
