Truecaller has appointed Sandeep Bhushan to its Board of Directors as an independent board member.
Bhushan brings more than 20 years of experience spanning technology, media, and consumer sectors. Most recently, he served as India Director of Global Marketing Solutions at Meta. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at Samsung and Mint. At Samsung, he led marketing and operator partnerships for the smartphone business, while at Mint, he was part of the founding team and served as COO.
Bhushan began his professional journey with Unilever, where he spent over a decade in leadership positions.
Commenting on the appointment, Bhushan said Truecaller has built a strong global platform where trust and monetisation must grow together. He added that maintaining this balance is becoming increasingly critical as digital ecosystems continue to expand, and said he looks forward to contributing to the company’s next phase of growth.
Nami Zarringhalam, Co-founder of Truecaller, said Bhushan’s expertise in building consumer businesses and driving monetisation across global platforms would bring valuable perspective to the company. He also highlighted Bhushan’s understanding of fast-growing markets such as India and the APAC region.
Apart from joining Truecaller’s board, Bhushan also serves on the board of Traya Health. The company clarified that he does not hold any shares in Truecaller.
