Reliance Consumer Products (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries, has acquired Southern Health Foods Private Ltd, a Tamil Nadu–based company best known for its health foods brand Manna.

The acquisition brings Manna into RCPL’s foods and staples portfolio, which includes brands such as Udhaiyam, Independence and SiL. Manna has operated in southern markets for more than two decades, offering products across millet-based staples and mixes, health drinks and baby foods.

RCPL said the acquisition aligns with its focus on building scale in the health and nutrition-focused packaged foods segment.

The company plans to use Reliance’s supply chain, distribution and R&D capabilities to expand Manna’s reach beyond southern India.

Southern Health Foods operates across categories including millets, oats, multigrain products, health mixes, breakfast cereals and dry fruits.
