Qubo has announced that cricketer KL Rahul and actor Athiya Shetty have joined the company as strategic investors, signalling growing momentum in India’s connected devices segment.

A part of Hero Electronix under the Hero Group, Qubo operates across smart home and connected auto categories. Since its launch in 2019, the brand has built a portfolio spanning dashcams, AI-powered security cameras, smart door locks, and video doorbells, all designed to function within an integrated ecosystem.

The company said the investment reflects increasing consumer interest in technology solutions that enhance safety and convenience across homes and mobility.

Commenting on the development, Nikhil Rajpal, Founder and CEO of Qubo, said the brand’s focus has been on making everyday life safer and more seamless through technology-led innovation. He added that Rahul and Athiya represent the modern Indian household that values both convenience and meaningful tech integration, making them a natural fit for the brand’s vision.

Sharing their perspective, Rahul and Athiya noted that their experience with Qubo products and the brand’s rapid growth—having shipped nearly two million devices—highlight its strong market potential. They added that the partnership goes beyond business, aligning with a shared goal of making Indian homes and roads safer.

Ujjwal Munjal, Vice Chairman at Hero Electronix, welcomed the duo, stating that their progressive outlook and rooted values align with Qubo’s commitment to innovation and trust. He added that the association will help bring Qubo’s offerings to a wider, tech-savvy audience.

The company also plans to leverage the partnership to strengthen its brand presence among younger consumers and accelerate its next phase of growth.
