Myntra has appointed Jeet Kumar as director – category management, marking a key addition to the leadership team of the fashion e-commerce major as it sharpens its focus on category-led growth and marketplace expansion.

In his new role, Kumar will be responsible for shaping category strategy, deepening brand partnerships, and driving growth across key product segments. His mandate will include strengthening assortment depth and improving consumer relevance across Myntra’s fashion and lifestyle portfolio.

Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Kumar said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director – Category Management at Myntra.”

Experience Across Large-Scale Marketplaces

Prior to joining Myntra, Kumar spent over five years at Amazon, where he served as category head for skin care, hair care, and derma. During his tenure, he was involved in building and scaling large consumer categories, with a focus on assortment expansion, performance metrics, and category-led growth strategies.

Strengthening Myntra’s Category-Led Strategy

With extensive experience across category management, product management, market research, and go-to-market execution, Kumar is expected to play a significant role in Myntra’s long-term growth plans. The company said his expertise will support efforts to enhance marketplace depth, improve brand collaboration, and deliver more relevant offerings to consumers.

The appointment comes as Myntra continues to invest in leadership and category capabilities to support sustained growth and reinforce its position as one of India’s leading fashion e-commerce platforms.
