Gaming reality show offers ₹1 crore prize money, opens nationwide auditions to identify India’s first international esports celebrity

Good Game, a gaming-focused reality show, has launched in India with the stated ambition of discovering what it calls the country’s first global gaming superstar. The show has named actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu as its global brand ambassador, alongside Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant and popular gaming content creator Ujjwal Chaurasia, widely known as Techno Gamerz.

Positioned as a competitive format blending gaming, performance and on-screen evaluation, the show will award prize money of ₹1 crore to the winner and aims to spotlight emerging talent from India’s fast-growing gaming ecosystem.

Format blends gaming, creativity and performance

According to the organisers, contestants will be evaluated not only on their gaming skills but also on creativity, screen presence and their ability to perform under pressure, reflecting the evolving nature of professional gaming and digital entertainment.

The show’s creators say the format is designed to bridge competitive gaming with mainstream entertainment, offering participants the opportunity to build global visibility and long-term careers in the digital content and esports industries.

Auditions open across major cities

Registrations for auditions are currently open to Indian citizens aged 18 and above. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for in-person auditions in Mumbai on February 14 and 15, followed by sessions in Delhi on February 28 and March 1, 2026.

Applicants are required to submit basic personal information, select their preferred audition city, provide a short written introduction, and upload a video of up to one minute as part of the registration process.

Founder highlights global ambition of the format

Announcing the launch, Rai Cockfield, founder of Good Game, said India’s scale and digital adoption made it a natural market for the format.

“India is home to one of the world’s largest entertainment and gaming communities, and we are delighted to finally bridge the gap between these two genres for the first time in India. Good Game will empower talent from across India to pave their way to global recognition and lifelong opportunities, changing lives and careers,” Cockfield said.

He added that the show has already drawn strong interest from brands.
