Blurb: New three-year deal makes FanCode exclusive home for F1 TV Pro and Premium in India

FanCode has renewed and expanded its broadcast partnership with Formula 1 through a fresh three-year agreement, extending its association with the global motorsport property until the conclusion of the 2028 season. The renewal builds on the platform’s existing two-year deal and further cements FanCode’s role as the primary digital destination for Formula 1 fans in India.

Under the expanded arrangement, Formula 1’s subscription products—F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium—will now be made available exclusively via FanCode in the Indian market. This integration enables fans to access Formula 1’s complete content ecosystem directly on the FanCode platform.

Full F1 Content Offering on FanCode

With the renewed deal, FanCode will continue to stream every Formula 1 race weekend, offering live coverage of races, practice sessions, qualifying rounds and sprint events. In addition, subscribers will have access to an extensive suite of on-demand features and content associated with Formula 1.

To broaden accessibility and deepen engagement, FanCode has also expanded its viewing experience by offering regional language commentary in Hindi and Tamil, catering to a wider and more diverse fan base across the country.

Focus on Community and Engagement

Beyond live race coverage, FanCode has been strengthening its motorsports portfolio with original and community-driven programming. This includes the Gearbox podcast, creator-led initiatives and curated fan screenings, with the platform indicating that further product-led innovations are in the pipeline to enhance fan engagement.

FanCode, F1 Executives Welcome Renewal

Commenting on the renewed partnership, Yannick Colaco, co-founder of FanCode, said the agreement marked an important milestone for the platform’s motorsports ambitions.

“We are delighted to renew our partnership with Formula 1 for three more years. This expanded deal firmly establishes FanCode as the home of all things F1 in India, and we’re excited to keep serving one of the country’s most passionate and fastest-growing sports communities. Fans have shown tremendous trust in our platform, and we will continue to deliver on their expectations, whether through livestreams, enhanced features or curated F1 community experiences,” Colaco said.

Ian Holmes, chief media rights and broadcasting officer at Formula 1, highlighted the success of the partnership since its inception in 2024 and underscored the focus on innovation and fan engagement.

“We are delighted to be beginning our next chapter with FanCode after a successful start to our partnership in 2024. FanCode has elevated our broadcast for our passionate Indian audience to ensure they are able to feel the adrenaline and excitement of a race weekend from the comfort of their homes. We look forward to continuing working closely with FanCode and finding new, innovative ways to engage our fanbase in India and its subcontinent,” Holmes said.

Strengthening Formula 1’s Digital Footprint in India

The renewed agreement reflects Formula 1’s growing emphasis on digital-first distribution in key growth markets such as India, while reinforcing FanCode’s position as a leading sports streaming platform offering premium global properties alongside localized fan experiences.
