BIBA has introduced BIBA NXT, a sub-brand aimed at younger consumers, as it expands its footprint in the contemporary ethnicwear segment.
The new line blends Indian textiles and prints with updated silhouettes, including halter necks, square necklines, bell sleeves, and corset-style tops paired with skirts. Traditional elements have been reinterpreted to align with current styling preferences.
BIBA NXT is positioned within the growing fusion wear category, catering to consumers looking for outfits that transition between ethnic and western contexts. The collection includes adjustable design elements for flexibility in fit and styling, with options such as pairing kurtas with denim or accessorising coordinated sets for festive occasions.
The launch reflects a broader shift in how younger consumers engage with Indian wear—moving beyond occasion-led purchases to more experimental, everyday styling.
Commenting on the launch, Siddharth Bindra, Managing Director, BIBA, said the brand is addressing a gap in the contemporary ethnic space, where younger audiences seek Indian craftsmanship in more modern silhouettes.
The collection is priced between INR 899 and INR 1,999 and is available on BIBA’s website and leading e-commerce platforms.
