Fuel Cycle sets up Navi Mumbai GCC to drive AI and product development

US-based AI-powered consumer insights and market research platform Fuel Cycle has launched a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, as part of its plans to expand its global technology and product operations.

The centre will serve as a hub for engineering, AI and product development, with an initial planned capacity of 50 employees. Fuel Cycle plans to scale the centre over the coming quarters and expects it to become an integral part of its global product and technology organisation.

The Navi Mumbai GCC will work on technology infrastructure for Fuel Cycle’s consumer insights platform, bringing together AI, research methodologies, customer communities and behavioural data. Teams in India will work with the company’s US and other global teams on product capabilities, engineering and data infrastructure.

According to Fuel Cycle, the India expansion is also aimed at tapping into the country’s technology and AI talent pool as it develops products for its global customer base.

Daryush Laqab, Chief Product and AI Officer, Fuel Cycle, said India will serve as a strategic product and AI hub for the company, with teams in Navi Mumbai expected to contribute to technologies shaping the next generation of market research.
