Wondrlab Network, India’s platform-first marketing network, has appointed Ishaan Balvani as its new creative lead – digital, reinforcing its push towards digital-first thinking, culturally rooted storytelling, and full-funnel brand building.
In his new role, Balvani will lead digital creative strategy across the network, focusing on strengthening brand relevance and delivering integrated solutions tailored to today’s platform-driven consumer ecosystem. He will report to Hemant Shringy, chief creative officer and managing partner at Wondrlab Network.
From FCB Kinnect to Wondrlab
Balvani joins Wondrlab from FCB Kinnect, where he most recently served as group creative director. During his tenure, he was closely involved in shaping high-impact digital narratives, leading large integrated campaigns for top-tier clients, and mentoring creative teams working across formats and platforms.
Among his most recognised work is HDFC Bank’s “Vigil Aunty – End of Scam Sale” campaign, which won at the Kyoorius Creative Awards, secured a Grand Prix at The One Show, and picked up a Cannes Lions award.
He also played a key role in building the TATA.ev brand, contributing to the launch of multiple electric vehicles and campaigns, including “Perfect Roads” for Harrier.ev. His work on the #PerryPowerfulPunch campaign earned further accolades at Kyoorius and The One Show.
A portfolio spanning finance, tech, FMCG and entertainment
Balvani’s portfolio includes major campaigns for Flipkart such as SASA LELE and Big Bang Diwali, along with work for brands including Disney+ Hotstar, Durex, Amul, Amazon, Google, Lodha Group, Aditya Birla Capital, and Standard Chartered. His experience spans sectors ranging from financial services and e-commerce to entertainment and FMCG.
At Wondrlab, he will work closely with the network’s strategy, technology and media teams to convert consumer insights into culturally resonant digital ideas, while ensuring creative output drives measurable business outcomes.
Leadership views on the appointment
Announcing the appointment, Hemant Shringy, chief creative officer and managing partner, Wondrlab Network, said Balvani brings together strong creative fundamentals with a sharp understanding of digital platforms.
“Ishaan combines creative depth with a powerful digital sensibility. The way he thinks about platforms, culture and ideas makes him a valuable addition to our creative leadership,” Shringy said. “As brands deal with an increasingly complex digital environment, his leadership will enable us to deliver work that is more focused, relevant and meaningful.”
Balvani said Wondrlab’s operating model and long-term vision were key factors in his decision to join.
“What stood out to me was Wondrlab’s integrated and platform-first mindset,” he said. “It’s a network that is building for where brands and culture are going, not where they’ve already been. I’m looking forward to working with teams across the organisation to create digital work that is relevant, impactful and genuinely connected with people.”
