Wondrlab has named Shidush Contractor as chief operating officer – influencer marketing, tasking him with steering the network’s creator-focused businesses, OPA and Opportune, across strategy, operations and expansion.

Contractor will report to Vandana Verma, co-founder and managing partner, Wondrlab Network.

The appointment comes alongside Wondrlab’s formal market rollout of its “Power of Total Influence” approach, a framework aimed at integrating influencer marketing more deeply into brand strategy and performance objectives.

OPA and Opportune to operate as integrated platforms

Under the new structure, OPA and Opportune will function as unified platforms, bringing together influencer reach, creator intelligence, technology and execution across multiple stages of the consumer journey.

The model is designed to support brand goals ranging from awareness to action, using a combination of creators, content formats and paid amplification to drive measurable outcomes.

Experience across adtech, talent and creator ecosystems

Contractor brings experience spanning adtech, talent management and creator-led businesses.

Most recently, he served as business head – Middle East and North Africa at influencer intelligence platform Qoruz, where he worked on regional expansion initiatives and the development of influencer analytics solutions.

Earlier, he held the role of chief of staff to the group CEO at Collective Artists Network, where he worked across talent management, content development and brand partnerships.

Following these stints, Contractor also worked independently with brands and platforms, focusing on building more structured and scalable influencer operating models.

Mandate to strengthen integration and measurement

In his new role at Wondrlab, Contractor will focus on integrating capabilities across OPA and Opportune, strengthening operational frameworks, improving measurement standards and enabling brands to activate creators across the full marketing funnel.

‘Brands need influence that compounds over time’: Vandana Verma

Commenting on the appointment, Vandana Verma said brands are increasingly seeking long-term value from influencer marketing rather than standalone campaigns.

“Brands today don’t need more influencer campaigns, they need influence that works across the funnel and compounds over time. Total Influence brings together storytelling, credibility, and performance into one operating system. Shidush’s experience across talent, technology, and execution makes him ideally placed to scale OPA and Opportune into platforms that deliver sustained, long-term value for brands,” she said.

Contractor: ‘Influence is now a serious business lever’

Sharing his perspective on joining Wondrlab, Contractor said influencer marketing has evolved into a core business driver.

“Influence has evolved into a serious business lever. What excites me about OPA and Opportune is the opportunity to build influence as a connected system—from discovery to conversion—using creators, data, and ideas in a coordinated way,” he said.

“Total Influence is about consistency, precision, and outcomes over time, and I’m excited to help bring this vision to life for brands within the Wondrlab ecosystem,” Contractor added.
