Ram Madhvani Films, Equinox Films and Equinox Virtual have announced a leadership alignment aimed at strengthening their organisational structure as the group scales its presence across advertising, long-form content and technology-driven storytelling.

As part of the move, Amita Madhvani, co-founder of the group, has taken on the additional role of Chief Executive Officer, with responsibility for overseeing growth and business strategy across all three companies.

Amita Madhvani to steer growth and new-format expansion

In her expanded mandate, Amita Madhvani will focus on scaling the group’s creative and commercial ambitions, accelerating strategic partnerships and exploring new content formats, including artificial intelligence- and virtual reality-driven storytelling.

The leadership alignment comes as the group positions itself to respond to growing demand for immersive, platform-native and technology-enabled content across brand, entertainment and digital ecosystems.

Ram Madhvani to continue creative and strategic leadership

Founder and Chairman Ram Madhvani will continue to lead creative direction and provide strategic oversight, with a stronger emphasis on emerging storytelling formats across cinema, advertising and immersive media.

“The most important thing for us is reinvention,” Madhvani said. “With Amita, Manoj, Khvafar, and the full team, we continue to inspire and motivate each other with a shared value system.”

Manoj Shroff and Khvafar Vakharia to lead key verticals

Under the aligned structure, Manoj Shroff, business head and executive producer at Equinox Films, will continue to lead the group’s advertising initiatives, focusing on efficiency, scalability and innovation, including the integration of new production technologies.

Khvafar Vakharia, business head and creative executive producer at Equinox Virtual, will drive growth in AI-driven, VR-led and experimental storytelling projects, strengthening the group’s footprint in next-generation content formats.

Strong pipeline across brands and immersive IPs

Over the past year, the group has delivered a diverse slate spanning advertising, branded content and immersive storytelling. Its recent portfolio includes campaigns for Airtel, Hilton, Nykaa, Aldo and Nestlé Milkmaid, alongside original intellectual properties such as Mohini – Khud Se Pyaar, an AI-based musical, and an AI-VR mythological short inspired by the Bhagavad Gita.

Operating from a shared creative base, Ram Madhvani Films, Equinox Films and Equinox Virtual said they aim to continue blending scale with innovation, while building a future-ready content ecosystem that integrates cinema, advertising and new-age narrative technologies.
