Wellbeing Nutrition has signed Malavika Mohanan as its brand ambassador to promote its Marine Collagen and Skin Fuel Glutathione range, marking a strategic push into the growing ingestible skincare category.

The campaign will roll out primarily across digital platforms, featuring Mohanan in content aimed at educating consumers about collagen’s role in maintaining skin structure and encouraging its regular intake as part of daily routines.

The move reflects a broader shift in the skincare industry, where brands are increasingly positioning skin health as nutrition-led rather than relying solely on topical products. Wellbeing Nutrition is leaning into this trend by promoting a “from within” approach to beauty.

Saurabh Kapoor, co-founder of Wellbeing Nutrition, said that collagen continues to be misunderstood in India, often associated only with cosmetic benefits and quick fixes. He emphasised that collagen is a key structural protein that declines by about 1% annually from the late 20s, and the brand aims to shift consumer focus toward long-term skin health through consistent nutritional support.

Mohanan echoed this perspective, stating that her skincare philosophy extends beyond topical application to a more holistic routine. She added that the brand’s ingestible products fit naturally into her daily regimen and align with a broader approach to wellness.

The Marine Collagen product uses nano-hydrolysed marine collagen peptides, while Skin Fuel Gluta is positioned as a complementary ingestible solution. Together, the portfolio is designed to support skin elasticity, structure, and overall health over time.

This announcement forms part of Wellbeing Nutrition’s larger strategy to build a collagen-focused portfolio and strengthen its presence in the ingestible beauty and wellness segment.
