Tinder has introduced its first comprehensive global brand refresh in almost ten years, marking a significant evolution of its visual identity. Developed in collaboration with design agency Porto Rocha, the redesign reflects how the platform says dating and human connections have changed over the past decade.

At the centre of the refresh is a redesigned logo. The company has replaced its long-standing lowercase wordmark with a bold, uppercase TINDER logo, while its signature flame icon has been simplified with cleaner lines and a more minimal aesthetic, retaining the familiar silhouette that has become synonymous with the brand.

The overhaul also includes a new serif typeface aimed at bringing a warmer, more editorial feel to Tinder's communications. In addition, the platform has transformed its iconic swipe gesture into a motion design system that will be used across its digital products, campaigns and other brand touchpoints.

Daniel Kim, Senior Vice President, Tinder Asia at Match Group, said the rebrand reflects the changing nature of modern dating, describing it as a mix of excitement, vulnerability, spontaneity and intention. He added that the refreshed identity signals a new chapter for Tinder in Asia, with a focus on enabling more meaningful connections that extend beyond the app.

Launched in 2012, Tinder helped popularise swipe-based matching, reshaping the online dating industry. Owned by Match Group, the platform is now available in more than 190 countries and supports over 45 languages. Match Group's portfolio also includes dating platforms such as Hinge, OkCupid, Plenty of Fish and Meetic.
