Reliance Enterprise Intelligence Limited (REIL), a joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited and Meta Platforms, has appointed Parminder Singh as its founding Chief Executive Officer.

The company has been set up to accelerate enterprise AI adoption in India by combining Meta’s AI capabilities with Reliance’s enterprise network, AI infrastructure, and Jio’s nationwide connectivity. The aim is to build scalable, sovereign AI solutions for businesses in India and global markets.

Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm, said the initiative represents a long-term opportunity to build India’s enterprise AI capabilities. He added that Singh’s experience in scaling digital businesses and leading complex transformations makes him well-suited to lead the venture and build a strong leadership team.

Singh brings extensive experience across global technology companies including Google, Apple, Twitter, and IBM. He has held leadership roles across the Asia-Pacific region, most notably as Chief Commercial and Digital Officer at Mediacorp, where he led digital and AI-driven transformation initiatives.

More recently, Singh co-founded ClayboxAI, an AI advisory firm, and WeKamp, an AI-led community platform currently in pilot.

Commenting on his appointment, Singh said enterprise AI in India is already a present opportunity, with businesses seeking partners who understand both technology and business needs. He added that REIL’s combined capabilities position it to deliver differentiated solutions in the space.
