Piyush Pandey has been inducted into The One Club for Creativity’s 2026 Creative Hall of Fame, recognising his lasting influence on advertising in India and the generations of creatives he mentored throughout his career.
The ceremony was held in New York on September 16, with The One Club describing the Hall of Fame class as a tribute to individuals whose influence extends beyond the work they created to the people, careers and creative movements they helped shape.
Pandey was recognised for transforming Indian advertising by bringing the language, humour and everyday experiences of India into brand storytelling. His work helped establish a distinctive Indian voice in advertising while connecting brands with audiences through culturally rooted narratives.
Ogilvy, where Pandey spent more than four decades, also celebrated the honour on Instagram. The agency highlighted that while his iconic campaigns have become part of advertising history, his deeper legacy lies in the generations of creative professionals he influenced.
Pandey joined Ogilvy in 1982 as a trainee account executive and moved to the agency’s creative department six years later. In 2019, he was appointed Global Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy.
