Mercedes-Benz India has announced a series of leadership changes across its Sales & Marketing function, appointing Nandita Godbole as its new Head of Marketing. She succeeds Amrit Baid, who has been named General Manager, Retail Finance & Pre-Owned Cars. The changes will come into effect from September 1, 2026.

As part of the organisational restructuring, Jamsheed Bhadha, currently General Manager, Product Planning & Sales Planning, will move to a new role within Mercedes-Benz in Dubai. He will be succeeded by Sanjay Kochar, who currently serves as General Manager, TEV & BEV Sales.

The company said the new structure reflects its growing focus on enhancing customer experience through real-time data, artificial intelligence, and the integration of retail finance into the customer journey.

Commenting on the appointments, Brendon Sissing, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India, said, "Our people remain the driving force behind Mercedes-Benz's customer centricity and sustained success. These organisational changes reinforce our commitment to creating exceptional customer experiences using real-time data strategies, AI deployment, and integrated business capabilities, while building future-ready leaders by offering broader cross-functional exposure to our talents."

Godbole has held several leadership positions at Mercedes-Benz India across Marketing, Retail Sales, and the Digital Customer Unit. In her new role, she will lead the company's marketing function with a focus on leveraging AI, real-time data, and predictive insights to deliver more personalised customer experiences and strengthen engagement across the customer lifecycle.

Meanwhile, Amrit Baid, after leading the company's Marketing and Customer Experience function, will now head the Retail Finance & Pre-Owned Cars business verticals. The company said the move is aimed at strengthening the integration of finance solutions within the overall customer experience.
