Kyoko Matsushita has been elevated to the role of APAC CEO at WPP Creative, marking a significant leadership transition within the network. She shared the update via LinkedIn, describing the move as an “exciting new chapter.”
In her new position, Matsushita will oversee operations across the Asia Pacific region, focusing on driving creative integration and growth. Highlighting the region’s potential, she noted that APAC represents a dynamic landscape rich with opportunity, where diverse perspectives and collective ingenuity can unlock greater value for clients and teams.
Prior to this elevation, Matsushita served as CEO of WPP Japan, where she led the company’s operations in the market, strengthening capabilities and aligning resources across agencies.
Her earlier roles include Global CEO at Essence Global, where she previously launched and led its APAC business. With a strong background across media, data, gaming, and technology, Matsushita brings extensive regional and global experience to her expanded mandate.
