Kinnect has won the creative mandate for Burger King India following a multi-agency competitive pitch process.
Under the mandate, Kinnect will lead integrated creative duties for the quick service restaurant brand, spanning brand strategy, creative communication, digital storytelling, and culture-led campaigns.
Kapil Grover said Burger King has built a culturally relevant identity in India through its off-centre humour and fresh take on Gen Z and millennial audiences. He added that as the brand enters its next phase of growth, Kinnect’s understanding of young consumers and its creative capabilities made the partnership a strong fit.
Chandni Shah said Burger King stands out as a brand that has managed to create both product affinity and cultural relevance at scale. She added that the brand’s willingness to be distinctive and sharply relevant to young audiences makes it an exciting partnership for the agency.
Neville Shah described the mandate as an opportunity to create work that becomes part of larger cultural conversations, calling Burger King a fun and exciting brand to work with.
