Kelvinator has rolled out an experiential campaign titled ‘Summer Paused’ at Carter Road Promenade, aiming to stand out in the crowded summer cooling category while targeting young urban consumers.

The on-ground activation brings the brand’s cooling proposition to life through a visually striking installation featuring a live performer frozen mid-motion amid artificial snow and icy backdrops. The contrast against Mumbai’s peak summer heat is designed to dramatise the effectiveness of Kelvinator’s heavy-duty air conditioners.

The three-day activation focuses on engaging Gen Z and millennial audiences frequenting high-footfall locations like Carter Road. Interactive formats such as ‘Break the Freeze’, ‘Brain Freeze’, and ‘The Staredown’ encourage active participation, moving beyond passive brand viewing.

To amplify reach, the campaign integrates an Instagram-led engagement mechanic, incentivising visitors to create and share content, thereby extending visibility beyond the physical installation.

The activation also serves as a platform to spotlight Kelvinator’s new range of air conditioners, which the company says combine smart technology, energy efficiency, and performance tailored to India’s diverse and demanding climate conditions.

With this initiative, Kelvinator is positioning itself as a brand that delivers not just appliances but immersive consumer experiences, aligned with its promise of being “For the Coolest One.”
