JioStar has partnered with PVR INOX to bring the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 to cinema screens across India, marking the first time a live international women’s cricket tournament will be screened theatrically in the country.

As part of the collaboration, select PVR INOX theatres will screen India’s group-stage matches, both semi-finals and the final, offering fans a large-format viewing experience beyond traditional television and streaming platforms.

Ticket prices for the screenings will range between ₹99 and ₹150. The initiative will begin with India’s group-stage fixtures and continue through the tournament, with a minimum of 168 screenings planned across the cinema chain’s network.

The move is aimed at expanding the reach of women’s cricket and fostering community viewing experiences around marquee matches. Fans will be able to watch live action on the big screen with enhanced audio-visual technology, creating an atmosphere similar to a stadium experience.

Commenting on the partnership, Gautam Dutta, CEO – Revenue & Operations at PVR INOX, said, “Cricket has an unmatched ability to bring people together, and we are thrilled to partner with JioStar to bring the ICC Women's T20 World Cup to cinemas for the very first time. Fans across the country will now experience every boundary, wicket and celebration on the big screen in a truly immersive, stadium-like environment.”

He added that the initiative reflects PVR INOX’s commitment to creating shared entertainment experiences while celebrating the growing popularity and fan base of women’s cricket.

The partnership also aligns with JioStar’s broader efforts to increase audience engagement for women’s cricket by taking major sporting events beyond digital and broadcast platforms into public and community viewing spaces.

Tickets for the screenings will be available through the PVR INOX website and mobile application.
