Himalaya BabyCare has rolled out a new winter-focused digital campaign aimed at addressing common concerns among parents regarding infant skincare during colder months, particularly during a baby’s first winter.

The digital film centres on a mother’s apprehension about the effects of cold and dry weather on her baby’s delicate skin. Set against a winter backdrop, the narrative follows the mother as she reflects on whether the harsh seasonal conditions could leave her baby’s cheeks dry and irritated. The storyline then transitions into reassurance, with the mother expressing confidence in her ability to keep her baby’s skin protected throughout the season.

Focus on winter skincare essentials

The campaign spotlights Himalaya Gentle Baby Lotion and Gentle Baby Cream, highlighting their pH 5.5 formulation along with Penta Moisture Lock technology. These features are positioned as supporting skin hydration and maintaining moisture balance during dry winter conditions.

Rather than adopting a solution-driven or promotional tone, the communication is rooted in everyday domestic settings. It reflects how parents naturally approach seasonal skincare choices for their infants, positioning the products as part of a regular winter care routine.

Brand perspective

Commenting on the campaign, Chakravarthi N. V., director – BabyCare, Himalaya Wellness Company, said the brand sought to capture an emotional insight shared by many new parents.

“At Himalaya BabyCare, we understand that a baby’s first winter can bring many questions and concerns for new parents. This DVC reflects the deeply emotional truth that every parent wants to protect their baby from even the smallest discomfort,” he said.

He added that the film aims to reinforce trust in the brand’s formulations and legacy. “Through this film, we wanted to reassure parents that Himalaya BabyCare, the No. 1 Doctor Prescribed Brand*, stands as a trusted partner in nurturing and protecting their baby, and that our gentle formulations are thoughtfully crafted to keep baby’s skin soft, nourished, and winter-ready,” Chakravarthi said.

Digital rollout

The campaign is being rolled out across digital platforms during the winter season, targeting parents seeking reassurance and reliable solutions for infant skincare during colder weather.
