New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has named Hero VIDA, the electric vehicle brand of Hero MotoCorp, as the title sponsor for India’s upcoming 12-match tour of New Zealand.

Under the partnership, Hero VIDA will hold the naming rights across the entire series and have a prominent brand presence throughout the tour.

TCM Sports, a sports marketing company, facilitated the title sponsorship. The company holds NZC’s exclusive naming rights and on-ground partnership rights from 2019 through 2031.

Sanjay Bhan, executive vice president, Global Business, Global Product Planning and Global Market Insights, Hero MotoCorp, said, “For HERO VIDA, this partnership is an opportunity to associate with a highly anticipated international tournament while celebrating the spirit of movement, ambition and progress—principles deeply rooted in our brand.”

Lokesh Sharma, managing director, TCM Sports, said the partnership with NZC has been built over several years and has created commercial opportunities around international cricket.

“This is an especially significant tour, both because of its scale and because it comes in the centenary year of sporting ties between India and New Zealand. We are delighted to have Hero VIDA on board as the Title Sponsor and look forward to delivering a strong partnership across the series,” Sharma said.

Geoff Allott, CEO, New Zealand Cricket, said the 12-match schedule across all three formats reflects the scale of the series and welcomed Hero VIDA as title sponsor.

The tour will begin on October 22, 2026, and forms part of New Zealand’s ‘100 Years of Unity through Sport’ programme, a year-long celebration of the sporting relationship between India and New Zealand.

The centenary traces the sporting relationship between the two countries back to 1926, when an Indian Army hockey team first toured New Zealand.
