Havas Media Network India has been appointed as the Media Agency on Record (AOR) for Matrimony.com, behind brands such as BharatMatrimony, Elite Matrimony, Tamil Matrimony, Telugu Matrimony, Kerala Matrimony and over 300 community-based matrimony platforms.
Under the mandate, Havas Media India will oversee integrated media strategy, planning and buying for Matrimony.com across digital and traditional platforms. The partnership will leverage the agency’s AI-led consumer intelligence tools, data-driven planning ecosystem and integrated media capabilities to drive business growth and consumer engagement.
Headquartered in Chennai and listed on both the BSE and NSE, Matrimony.com has built a strong presence in India’s matchmaking category by catering to regional and culturally diverse audiences across socio-economic segments.
The account win adds to Havas Media India’s growing momentum in South India. Over the past year, the agency has expanded operations across Bengaluru and Chennai through regional investments, leadership expansion and an increasing roster of South-based brands including Swiggy, V-Guard, Eurogrip, Muthoot FinCorp, Joyalukkas and Modenik Lifestyle.
The South operations are led by Sujata Singh, President, South, Havas Media India, who brings over two decades of experience across companies such as Amazon India, GroupM, Omnicom and IPG Mediabrands.
As part of its South India expansion, Havas Media India recently strengthened its Bengaluru presence under the Havas Village model, integrating capabilities across media, digital, commerce, content and technology. The Bengaluru hub includes teams from Havas Play, Havas Market, Arena Media, CSA and PivotRoots, alongside AI-led analytics and consumer intelligence specialists.
The agency has also expanded its Chennai office to deepen regional expertise and strengthen client partnerships across the South Indian market.
