Goafest will host the second edition of ‘Advertising Plays’, a sports and wellness initiative organised by the Advertising Agencies Association of India and The Advertising Club. The programme is aimed at professionals across advertising, media and marketing, and is designed to blend competition with recreation.
The initiative will include inter-agency tournaments such as table tennis and pickleball, alongside wellness-led sessions like yoga and Zumba. Attendees will also be able to participate in indoor and experiential activities including foosball, air hockey and VR cricket.
A points-based system will be integrated into the programme, with a live leaderboard on the Goafest app tracking performances across activities. The agency with the highest cumulative score will be awarded the title of ‘Sportiest Agency’.
Mediakart has come on board as the ‘Powered By’ sponsor for Advertising Plays, in association with Republic TV.
Speaking on the initiative, Mohit Joshi, Co-Chair of the Goafest 2026 Organising Committee and CEO of Havas Media Network India, said the platform is intended to foster camaraderie within the industry beyond competitive business environments.
Jaideep Gandhi, Vice President of AAAI and Chairman of the Goafest 2026 Organising Committee, added that the return of Advertising Plays reflects the industry’s appetite for coming together beyond work, enabling professionals to connect, recharge and collaborate.
The initiative is open to all registered Goafest delegates and aims to facilitate informal networking through shared experiences. The event is scheduled to take place from May 20 to 22, 2026, at Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon.
