Campus Activewear has forayed into the athleisure apparel segment, marking a strategic expansion beyond its core footwear business as it seeks to build a broader lifestyle portfolio.
The move adds clothing to the company’s existing range of sports and athleisure footwear, positioning the brand to tap into growing demand for everyday, comfort-led fashion.
Apparel range targets everyday use
The newly launched category includes polo T-shirts, round-neck T-shirts, jackets, jogger pants and caps for both men and women. The products are priced between ₹599 and ₹1,899 and are designed for daily wear across multiple settings.
According to the company, the collection emphasises comfort and versatility, featuring stretchable fabrics along with anti-odour and anti-microbial properties. The designs are aimed at users looking for clothing suitable for workouts, travel and casual occasions.
Company outlines growth strategy
Commenting on the launch, Nikhil Aggarwal, whole-time director and chief executive officer of Campus Activewear, said the expansion was aligned with the company’s long-term business objectives.
“Our entry into the athleisure apparel market is a strategic business decision allowing us to expand our addressable market, drive incremental revenues from our existing customer base, while remaining anchored to Campus’ core brand philosophy of movement and self-expression,” Aggarwal said.
He added that the new category strengthens the brand’s product offering while reinforcing its focus on evolving consumer preferences. “The launch not only expands the brand’s portfolio but also underscores our commitment to delivering superior products that cater to modern consumer needs,” he said.
Omnichannel rollout
The apparel line is being rolled out across Campus’ exclusive brand outlets, its direct-to-consumer website and major e-commerce platforms, including Amazon and Myntra.
With this expansion, Campus Activewear is positioning itself in the wider lifestyle and athleisure space, as it looks to diversify revenue streams and reduce dependence on footwear alone.
