boAt has forayed into the dashcam category with the launch of its Hive Dashcam range, backed by a digital campaign titled ‘Avoid Dash Dash’.
The campaign film opens at a busy traffic intersection where a minor collision sparks a heated argument between two drivers. Both insist on their own version of events, with the exchange quickly escalating. The dispute is resolved when the woman driver pulls out her phone and plays dashcam footage, revealing that the other vehicle had indicated left but abruptly turned right.

Set against the backdrop of everyday urban traffic chaos, the film highlights a common reality on Indian roads where accountability often hinges on who argues louder. By positioning dashcams as unbiased record-keepers, the campaign underscores how recorded evidence can replace confrontation with clarity.
Commenting on the launch, a boAt spokesperson said that traffic disputes are a frequent sight on Indian roads, often driven by conflicting narratives. With the ‘Avoid the Dash Ki Dash Moment’ campaign, the brand aims to present Hive Dashcams as tools that capture events as they unfold, enabling drivers to stay calm, confident and supported by proof.
The Hive Dashcam range includes three models F1, M1 and E1. The devices offer high-resolution recording, wide-angle coverage and loop recording. Additional features include microSD storage support, smartphone app connectivity, optional cloud integration, and parking surveillance enabled through motion detection and G-sensor triggers.
