The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited bids for the title sponsorship rights for its events, launching a tender process for interested entities to acquire the rights.
In a media advisory issued on July 20, the cricket board announced the release of the Invitation to Tender (ITT), which outlines the terms and conditions governing the submission and evaluation of bids.
The ITT will be made available upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs 1 lakh, plus applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). Interested parties must complete the purchase of the ITT by August 4, 2026, while the last date to seek clarifications is August 5, 2026. Bid documents must be submitted by August 13, 2026.
Entities interested in participating are required to email proof of payment for the ITT to the BCCI, following the procedure outlined in the tender documents. The board clarified that the ITT will only be shared after confirmation of payment.
The BCCI also stated that purchasing the ITT does not automatically qualify an entity to submit a bid. Only applicants meeting the eligibility criteria and other conditions specified in the ITT will be considered eligible to participate in the bidding process.
The cricket board has reserved the right to amend or cancel the tender process at any stage without assigning any reason.
