The Amul brand has crossed the ₹1 lakh crore turnover milestone in FY26, registering an 11% increase over ₹90,000 crore in FY25, according to the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF).

GCMMF reported a sales turnover of ₹73,450 crore for FY26, marking an 11.4% rise from ₹65,911 crore in the previous financial year. The federation operates through 18 district cooperative unions and manages a portfolio of more than 1,200 product packs.

The growth has been supported by expansion in distribution networks, diversification of product categories, and efforts to cater to evolving consumer preferences. GCMMF has also been strengthening its international presence, including launching fresh milk offerings in markets such as Europe and the United States.

During the year, the International Cooperative Alliance ranked GCMMF as the world’s top cooperative. Additionally, Amit Shah launched the Sardar Patel Cooperative Dairy Federation Limited (SPCDF) in July 2025 to expand the cooperative model beyond Gujarat.

Commenting on the milestone, Chairman Ashokbhai Chaudhary said the achievement reflects the trust of millions of consumers and the efforts of 3.6 million dairy farmers. Vice Chairman Gordhanbhai Dhameliya described it as a strong validation of the cooperative model, while Managing Director Dr. Jayen Mehta highlighted the organisation’s focus on scaling globally while ensuring value reaches producers.
